Refund policy

1. Right of withdrawal

If you buy as a consumer (or as a sole trader with consumer rights), you may withdraw from the contract within 14 days of receiving your bench, without giving a reason. Just send us a statement before the deadline: by email to laweczka.mic@gmail.com or by post to the company address. You can use the form at the end of this page, but you do not have to.

The right of withdrawal does not apply to businesses buying as part of their professional activity – such an order can be returned by individual arrangement.

2. Sending the bench back

Send the bench back within 14 days of submitting your statement to: MiC LAVO, Magazyn Niegoszowice, Rostworowskich 19, 32-064 Niegoszowice, Poland. Pack it so that it is not damaged in transit, ideally in the original box.

The buyer pays the cost of returning the bench. It is a large parcel, so the cost is higher than for an ordinary shipment: approximately PLN 65 from Poland and approximately PLN 780 from Germany for the STANDARD bench. For the PREMIUM bench the cost is agreed individually – write to us and we will help you arrange a courier.

3. Refund

We refund the price of the bench and the cost of delivery to you (up to the cheapest delivery offered in the store) within 14 days of receiving your statement. We may withhold the refund until we receive the bench or proof that it has been sent. The money is returned using the same payment method you used for the purchase, unless you agree to a different method that involves no cost to you.

4. Condition of the returned bench

Before installation you may inspect and check the bench as you would in a physical shop. You are liable for any reduction in its value if it has been used more than is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning.

Installation (setting the bench in the ground or in concrete) goes beyond that. A bench that has been installed and then removed can usually no longer be sold as new, so we will reduce the refund by the loss in its value – this may be a substantial part of the price. Signs of use (scratches, dents, dirt, marks from an attempted installation) also reduce the refund.

5. Transport damage and complaints

Check the parcel in the presence of the courier and, if it is damaged, complete a damage report. Report defects to laweczka.mic@gmail.com; the complaint rules are set out in the Terms of Service.
